In line with the economic recovery and sustainabilitydrive of HE President Muhammadu Buhari, the HM of Works and Housing BabatundeFashola SAN and the entire ministry intend to commence a major private sectorparticipation program to boost investment in Nigeria's National highways underthe regulatory guidance of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission.The overall program is aimed at attracting private investment and expertise totransform our federal highways to world class economic corridors.
In order to improve the program structure and obtainrequired input from the general public, road users, investors etc in line withthe National Policy on Public Private Partnerships. The Federal Ministry ofWorks and Housing in partnership with the Infrastructure Concession RegulatoryCommission and the Lagos Business School Centre for Infrastructure PolicyRegulation and Advancement (CIPRA) are holding a Federal Highways ManagementInitiative stakeholder consultation webinar as per attached flyer.
