Agreement to supportgreater financial inclusion among unbanked in Nigeria
Pan-African fintech startup and digital bank CarbonBank has partnered with Network International, the leading enabler of digitalcommerce across Africa and the Middle East, as part of its plan to boost itsdigital payment offering.
Under the agreement, Network International will issueand process physical Visa debit cards on behalf of Carbon, enhancing the bank'soffering to customers.
True to Carbon's mission of empowering all people withthe financial access they need to pursue a life of dignity and prosperity, thecollaboration will support financial inclusion among the unbanked andunderbanked in Nigeria. In addition to payment services, Carbon also offers easilyaccessible loans, a fee-free, interest-earning wallet, high-yield savings andeasy-to-use tools for personal financial management.
Carbon, which focuses on delivering an unparalleledbanking experience that is both safe and reliable across all touchpoints, willbenefit from Network's advanced, scalable and cost-effective digitalinfrastructure and robust security protocols, eliminating the need to invest incostly card management infrastructure.
