The Directors of PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc hereby notify Nigerian Exchange Limited (“NGX”) and the investing public that due to circumstances, the Company was unable to comply with the timeline to file its Audited Financial Statements for the year ended 31 May 2022 by the due date of 29 August 2022. 

We confirm that our audit process is almost completed, however due to resolution of pending audit matters around areas of judgment, we were unable to file our Audited Financial Statements for the year ended 31 May 2022 within the permitted timeline for filing. 

Consequently, the Company requires four (4) weeks to finalize all actions required to issue its annual reports and accounts for the year ended 31 May 2022. The expected filing date will be on or before 29 September 2022
