The RICSNigeria Group will be holding its 2021 Conference and AGM themed"Sustainability in Construction and Real Estate" which will bring expertstogether to discuss the impact of the global sustainability march on Nigeria'sbuilt environment.
According tothe UN Environment Program, the built industry as a collective is responsiblefor 38% of global carbon emissions. Key stakeholders have begun engaging thebuilt industry as leading executives are now more attuned to the challenges ofsustainability. Climate risk is increasingly being seen as a financial risk,and the COVID-19 pandemic has added a sense of urgency to finding a lastingsolution.
