Geregu Power plant, located in Kogi State is one of the strategic energy hubs in Nigeria, designed to service the North-Central and North-Eastern States.In view of its commitment to reforming the power sector, the Federal Government recently facilitated the sale of the Geregu plant to Indigenous Petroleum firm Forte Oil plc, who acquired 51 percent majority stake.
