The current spate of terrorist attacks in Kaduna State led to the suspension of flights by prominent airlines Azman and Air Peace. Azman and Air peace, in separate statements, announced the suspension of flights to Kaduna. 

Last weekend there was a report of armed bandits that attacked the Kaduna International Airport, which led to the initial delay of a scheduled Azman flight. This came when Nigeria witnessed the horrific attack on the Kaduna-Abuja passenger train by terrorists, which claimed several lives. 

In a statement issued by the Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC), the Corporation suspended the Kaduna-Abuja rail service. The Kaduna-Abuja expressway has become a dangerous route for road transportation as commuters face attacks by kidnappers and bandits.
