At the recent Nigeria-British Chamber of Commerce, NBCC discourse on “Fast Tracking Productivity Leveraging Technology” the Lagos State Commissioner of Health Prof. Akin Abayomi a panelist at the event, emphasized the need for significant investments in the healthcare sector.  

He said globally nations are prioritizing research and development, and the recent COVID 19 pandemic whether manufactured or natural, revealed why Nigeria’s entire healthcare system value-chain should be prepared to tackle future pandemics.
