Appointment Of Executive Director, Sales & Marketing

The Board of Directors of Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals Plc. (the Company), announces the appointment of Pharm. Gerald Ijeoma Oputa as Executive Director, Sales & Marketing of the Company.

Pharm. Oputa graduated from the University of Jos in 1994, where he obtained a B.Pharm. He went on to obtain an MBA from the Lagos State University, Lagos. He is a Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of . Nigeria (PSN) and National Association of Industrial Pharmacists (NAIP).

Oputa began his professional career as a Hospital Pharmacist at General Hospital, Shani, Borno State in 1995 serving our country during his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme. Prior to this he had a one-year internship programme at Evans Medical Plc, Agbara as an intern Pharmacist. He had a brief stint with Ranbaxy Nigeria Limited as Medical Representative before making a move to Reals Pharmaceuticals Limited where he served from 1997 till 2010 and rose from the position of Medical Representative to occupy the positions of Senior Medical Representative, Product Manager (Oncology/Critical Care), Product Manager (Astrazeneca) and Marketing Manager (Astrazenéca), a position he occupied from 2005 to 2010.

He went on to become Marketing Manager (Consultant) Quixuplisrm Nigeria Limited before occupying the position of Business Manager (Nigeria) at DEXA-Medica (Oversees Kusiness Unit). He occupied the position of Head of Marketing, Sales and Strategy at Emzor Pharmaceutical Ind. Limited from 2012 to 2015, before moving on to Dana Drugs Limited as Asst. Vice President - Sales and Marketing from 2015 to 2021.

Pharm. Oputa is reputed to be a dynamic sales and marketing professional with about twenty-four years in the sales and marketing of pharmaceutical products, business development and trade channel management.

Twelve years out of this twenty-four have been in very senior positions, developing and executing strategies seeking to improve brand awareness and acceptance. He is an astute professional with demonstrated competence and rare leadership skills.

Pharm. Oputa resumed duty on the 1s of April 2022. His appointment will be ratified at the next Annual General Meeting of the Company. The Board is pleased to have him join the Company and looks forward to an outstanding success for him with the Company.

Change in functional responsibility of pharm. (Mrs.) Roseline a. Oputa

Pharm. (Mrs.) Roseline Akunjeri Oputa joined the Board of Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals Plc. On 20th October 2017. She obtained a B. Pharm from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 1990. She joined the Company in 1992 as Pharmaceutical Sales Representative and has held various positions in the Company, such as Manager, Sales Training and Customer Satisfaction, National Demand Manager, Group Product Manager, Marketing Manager, Associate Director/Head of Ethical Product Group and Director of Administration & Corporate Programmes, before rising to become Executive Director, Sales & Marketing.

She has attended several enrichment programmes in the area of Sales, Marketing, Leadership and Management. The Board in the process of doing some strategic repositioning, has decided to change the

functional responsibility of Pharm. (Mrs.) Oputa to become Executive Director of Administration and wishes her the very best in her newrole.
