The National Economic Dialogue (NED) organised by the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) was held on the 20th of May, 2022 at the Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja. The purpose of the dialogue was to discuss the critical challenges confronting the Nigerian economy and steps to be taken towards the betterment of the Nigerian State. 

The event was held at a time when the country was ten (10) months away from the general elections, with the aim to equip the parties and populace with adequate information to enable them make sound decisions for the future. 

Also discussed, were the challenges causing economic dysfunction with a focus on the critical ones that require government utmost attention.
