We refer to our announcement dated 25 March 2022 notifying Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and the investing public of the meeting of the Board of Directors of MTN Nigeria Communications Plc (the Company).

Please be informed that the Board at its meeting held on Thursday, 28 April 2022 considered and approved the Unaudited Condensed Consolidated Interim Financial Statements for the three months period ended 31 March 2022.

The Closed Period in respect of transactions on the Company's securities will remain in effect until 24 hours after the Financial Statements have been released to the public. Accordingly, no director, employee, or adviser of the Company and their connected persons may directly or indirectly, deal in the securities of the Company in any manner during the Closed Period.
