Average price paid by consumers for premium motor spirit (petrol)decreased by -10.59% year-on-year and month-on-monthby -0.89% to N129.67 in May 2020 from N130.84 in April 2020.
States withthe highest average price of premium motor spirit (petrol) were Borno(N138.10), Taraba (N138.00) and Jigawa (N137.89).
States withthe lowest average price of premium motor spirit (petrol) were Abuja(N123.50),Anambra (N124.85)and Kwara (N124.88).

Averageprice paid by consumers for automotive gas oil (diesel) decreased by -2.22%month-on-month and by -3.90% year-on-year to N219.13 in May 2020 from toN224.11 in April 2020.
Stateswith the highest average price of diesel were Sokoto (N239.17), Taraba(N239.03) and Kaduna (N231.72).
Stateswith the lowest average price of diesel were Ekiti (N202.86), Jigawa (N205.50)and Kebbi (N205.83).

Averageprice per litre paid by consumers for National Household Kerosene decreased by-2.61% month-on-month and increased by 5.53% year-on-year to N333.39 in May2020 from N342.33 in April 2020.
Stateswith the highest average price per litre of kerosene were Taraba (N398.15) ,Imo (N393.48), and Ebonyi (N391.67).
Stateswith the lowest average price per litre of kerosene were Bayelsa (N246.67),Abuja (N270.00) and Bauchi (N274.07).
Similarly,average price per gallon paid by consumers for National Household Keroseneincreased by 0.25% month-on-month and decreased by -0.26% year-on-year toN1,207.37 in May 2020 from N1,204.33 in April 2020.
Stateswith the highest average price per gallon of kerosene were Kebbi (N1,355.38),Borno (N1,350.00) and Ekiti (N1,345.88).
Stateswith the lowest average price per gallon of kerosene were Bayelsa (N1,037.14),Osun (N1,042.14) and Anambra (N1,066.33).
