FSDH Group to Engage 3 Nigerian Governors in a Webinar Session on May 22, 2020

We arecounting down to the first session in the FSDH Knowledge Based Series titled, 'A Global Pandemic: Local Realities andPeculiarities - A View from the Frontlines'.

 

FSDH Group, made up of FSDH Holding Company, FSDH Merchant Bank, FSDHAsset Management, FSDH Capital and Pensions Alliance Limited, is bringingtogether key stakeholders and driving necessary conversations regarding thepandemic and current economic situation.

 

With over 4million confirmed cases and over 300,000 deaths globally, the world continuesto battle COVID-19. In Nigeria, the virus has spread to over 5,000 individualsin 35 states in the country since the first case on the 27th of February 2020.

 

Although stategovernments have customized their approaches to dealing with the virus, itsspread has brought to light the weak capacity of our health care systems andhow this may have heightened its effects on our economy.

 

In the session to be moderated by Mr. Hakeem Belo-Osagie, Chairman, FSDHHolding Company, at 11:00am on the 22nd of May 2020,the Group will engage:

 

  • His Excellency, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos State, Nigeria;
  • His Excellency, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, Governor of Kaduna State, Nigeria; and
  • His Excellency, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, Governor of Edo state, Nigeria.

 

The session will take a closerlook at the unique impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in Nigeria, and profferpossible ways forward.
