Nigeria’sEquities Market closed the month of May 2019 in the green zone asNSEASI halts downwards movement to close positive by +6.55% as against -6.06% loss recorded in the month of April 2019 while the NASD USI closed in redwith -1.26% lossrecorded at the end of the month under review as against +0.06%  gainin April 2019.

Onmarket development, regulation and investors protection, the Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday May 31^st 2019 announced itsfar reaching decisions on the investigation of Oando Plc following the forensic audit directed by thecommission after the two petitions dated back to 2017.

Further to this, the Commission has constituted an InterimManagement Team headed by Mr. Mutiu Olaniyi Adio Sunmonu to oversee the affairs of Oando Plc, and conduct an Extra OrdinaryGeneral Meeting on or before July 1, 2019 to appoint new Directors to the Boardof the Company, who would subsequently select a Management Team for Oando Plc.
