Average price paid by consumers for premium motorspirit (petrol) increased by 1.9% year-on-year and 0.3% month-on-month toN147.30 in September 2018 from N146.90 in August 2018.
States with the highest average price of premium motorspirit (petrol) were Enugu (N153.88), Taraba (N152.86) & Delta (N150.92).
States with the lowest average price of premium motorspirit (petrol) were Kano (N144.87), KatsinaN143.63) & Bauchi (N144.00).

Average price paid by consumers for automotive gas oil(diesel) increased by 1.76% month-on-month and 14.52% year-on-year to N211.64in September 2018 from to N207.98 in August 2018.
States with the highest average price of diesel wereBorno (N245.83), Taraba (N235.00) and Sokoto (N228.33)
States with the lowest average price of diesel wereEdo (N197.28), Katsina (N195.63) and Rivers (N190).

Average price per litre paid by consumers for NationalHousehold Kerosene increased by 2.95% month-on-month and 12.40% year-on-year toN297.28 in September 2018 from N288.75 in August 2018.
States with the highest average price per litre ofkerosene were Abuja (N350.00) , Niger (N337.88), and Enugu (N344.67).
States with the lowest average price per litre ofkerosene were Borno (N250.00), Abia & Kogi (N241.67) and Kwara (N235.28)
Similarly, average price per gallon paid by consumersfor National Household Kerosene increased by 3.95% month-on-month and by 15.75%year-on-year to N1127.05in September 2018 from N1084.24 in August 2018.
States with the highest average price per gallon ofkerosene were Ebonyi (N1260.00), Jigawa (N1258.33) & Ekiti (N1253.33).
States with the lowest average price per gallon ofkerosene were Benue (N1016.64), Bayelsa (N994.90) and Akwa Ibom (N956.01).

Average price for the refilling of a 5kg cylinder forLiquefied Petroleum Gas (Cooking Gas) increased by 2.60% month-on-monthand 10.26% year-on-year to N2,107.48 in September 2018 fromN2,054.14 in August 2018.
States with the highest average price for therefilling of a 5kg cylinder for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Cooking Gas) wereBauchi (N2,400.00), Borno (N2,440.00) and Gombe (N2,487.50).
