The NGX All-Share Index advanced by -0.06% to close at 52,594.68 basis points as against a 0.02% gain recorded previously to close at 52,626.42 basis points at the end of the last trading session. In Naira terms, the NGX Market CAP records a N17.29bn loss.
YTD, the NGXASI Stands at +2.62%
The total volume traded advanced by 243.89% to close at N443.75m, valued at N1.68bn and traded in 3,100 deals. VERITASKAP was the most traded stock by volume with 347.05m units traded while NESTLE was also the most traded stock by value which is put at N487.65m
Sectoral performance was broadly negative as four (4) NGX sector index closed northward, ten (10) sector index closed southward and four (4) closed flat. The NGX BANKING index advanced by 0.37% to top the gainer’s chart while the NGX FOOD and BEVERAGES index declined by 0.62% to top the losers’ chart.
The Gote index declined by -1.85% at 138.56 basis points while the Toni index advanced by 0.74% to close at 121.71 basis points.
At the close of trading, the market recorded 25 gainers to 16 losers and 56 unchanged. ABBEYBDS topped the list of gainers while LINKASSURE topped the list of losers.
