The NGX All-Share Index declined by 0.47% to close at 53498.27 basis points as against 2.08% loss recorded previously to close at 53750.77 basis points at the end of the last trading session. In Naira terms, the NGX Market CAP records a N137.55bn loss.

The total volume traded advanced by 101.08% to close at N202.85m, valued at N2.05bn and traded in 3071 deals. TRANSCORP was the most traded stock by volume with 61.49m units traded while GTCO was the most traded stock by value which is put at N291.14b.
Sectoral performance was broadly negative as seven (7) NGX sector index closed northward, fifteen (8) sectors index closed southward and three (5) closed flat. Food and Beverages index advanced by 1.50% to top the gainer’s chart while the NGX-IND Index declined by 2.18% to top the losers’ chart.
The Gote index declined by 0.355% to close at 150 basis points while the Toni index stayed flat to close at 118.46 basis points.
