The NGX All-Share Index advanced by 0.12% to close at 49,024.16 basis points as against 0.42% loss recorded previously to close at 49,171.70 basis points at the end of the last trading session. In Naira terms, the NGX Market CAP records N32.01bn gain.
YTD, the NGXASI Stands at +14.77%
The total volume traded advanced by +61.58% to close at 356.74m, valued at N3.74bn and traded in 3,311 deals. GTCO was the most traded stock by volume with 135.62m units traded while GTCO was also the most traded stock by value which is put at N2.41bn
Sectoral performance was broadly positive as ten (10) NGX sector index closed northward, three (3) closed southward while five (5) closed flat. The NGXMERIGRW inched up by 0.96% to top the gainers chart while the NGXAFRHDYI Index dipped by 0.11% to top the losers’ chart.
Gote index closed flat at 128.26 basis points while Toni index inched up by 0.98% to close at 104.56 basis points.
At the close of trading, market recorded 15 gainers to 9 losers and 71 unchanged. RTBRISCOE topped the list of gainers while IKEJAHOTEL topped the list of losers.
