The NGX All-Share Index advanced by 1.09% to close at 44,492.73 basis points as against 0.08% loss recorded previously to close at 44,011.22 basis points at the end of the last trading session. In Naira terms, the NGX Market CAP records N262.27bn gain.
YTD, the NGXASI Stands at +4.16%
The total volume traded advanced by 50.13% to close at 146.68m, valued at N1.24bn and traded in 3,028 deals. TRANSCORP was the most traded stock by volume with 24.36m units traded while FBNH was also the most traded stock by value which is put at N237.35m
Sectoral performance was broadly positive as fourteen (14) NGX sector index closed northward, zero (0) closed southward and four (4) closed flat. The NGX PREMIUM index advanced by 1.82% to top the gainers chart.
Gote index closed flat at 124.85 basis points and the Toni index advanced by 2.08% to close at 107.51 basis points.
At the close of trading, the market recorded 19 gainers to 11 losers and 66 unchanged. NB topped the list of gainers while FIDSON topped the list of losers.
