The NGX All-Share Index advanced by 0.89% to close at 52,512.48 basis points as against a 0.62% gain recorded previously to close at 52,048.85 basis points at the end of the last trading session. In Naira terms, the NGX Market CAP records a N252.53bn gain.
YTD, the NGXASI Stands at +2.46%
The total volume traded advanced by 2.56% to close at 217.16m, valued at N2.55bn and traded in 4,591 deals. ZENITHBANK was the most traded stock by volume with 20.31m units traded while ZENITHBANK was also the most traded stock by value which is put at N517.74mn
Sectoral performance was broadly positive as thirteen (13) NGX sector index closed northward, three (3) sector index closed southward and two (2) closed flat. The NGX NGXMERIVAL index advanced by 1.72% to top the gainer’s chart while the NGX GROWTH index declined by 0.94% to top the losers’ chart.
