Nigerian Equities Market closed positive as the key market indicator advanced by 365.40 bps amid positive market breadth
The NGX All-Share Index advanced by 0.73% to close at 50,300 basis points as against a 0.46% gain recorded previously to close at 49,934.60 basis points at the end of the last trading session. In Naira terms, the NGX Market CAP records a N199.02bn gain.
YTD, the NGXASI Stands at +17.75%
The total volume traded declined by 1.65% to close at 490.48m, valued at N7.75bn and traded in 4,480 deals. FBNH was the most traded stock by volume with 271.36m units traded while FBNH was also the most traded stock by value which is put at N3.2bn
Sectoral performance was broadly positive as fifteen (15) NGX sector index closed northward, one (1) closed southward and two (2) closed flat. The NGXGROWTH index advanced by 5.37% to top the gainer’s chart while the NGXMERIGRW index declined by 1.01% to top the losers’ chart.
