Grain commodities sustained a 2-week upward trend in the open market on the back of demand pressures. However, Paddy rice declined marginally by 0.03%.
Cocoa and Maize stood as the only gainers on the Exchange, gaining 3.94% and 2.27% respectively week-on-week.
Week-on-week, the AEI outperformed other benchmark indexes, gaining 3.30% while the ASI and S&P GSCI Agriculture index gained 0.81% and 3.26% respectively.
