To accelerate the growth and scale of startups in Nigeria through affordable business support services, Fintech Association of Nigeria, FintechNGR has established an online Startup Marketplace. 

The Startup Marketplace is an innovative platform by FintechNGR that leverages technology to connect providers and startups in real-time. Fintechs and other startups in the ecosystem can access support measures across legal, regulatory, data privacy, cybersecurity, business development, operations, financial planning, marketing, accounting, auditing, logistics, capacity building and funding. 

Looking at some of the defining themes by Findexable for the global fintech ecosystem in 2022, Inclusion, Investment and Infrastructure are three (3) key metrics that stand out. However, collaboration and ecosystem synergy, a major goal of the Startup Marketplace, would bring some colouration to the aforementioned themes. 

On the platform, startups can enjoy vast professional services at subsidised rates, and the platform allows them to:

• request a service/product
• initiate chat with a provider; and
• Make payment for the product/service.
• Rate a service/product 

The Service providers gain access to a large community of startups needing their products and services. This also increases their popularity and market access. Also, a service provider on the platform can:

• create a profile, which also shows rating;
• add product/services;
• providers are notified via email if there is a request for their service. 

Some of the other features of the Startup Marketplace include reduced rates to zero fees, transparency and integrity with requisite monitoring tools, increased visibility for startups and service providers amongst others. 

The services to be provided on the platform includes, but are not limited to, Banking, Accounting, Taxation, Consulting, Law/Legal, Media/Communication, Loans, Finance, Investment/Mentoring, Incubation & Acceleration, Insurance, ICT & Telcos, Blockchain and so on.
