This edition of the Economy and Politics show features Titilope Oni, the Head of Operations for the Nigeria Economic Summit Group Think Tank speaks on "Reforms & Investments In Nigeria's Manufacturing Sector".
According to her the structural challenges in Nigeria ranging from issues like infrastructure to policy stability, have so far inhibited the growth of manufacturing in the country.
Speaking further she highlighted the fact that Nigeria can expand its manufacturing base with targeted exports that will boost productivity in the economy.
On the way forward she called on the government to tackle the issue of insecurity, create the enabling environment for a public-private partnership, outline clear goals and targets in its policy framework for the manufacturing sector.
