CRC Credit Bureau Limitedrecently launched its mobile application "CRC Mobile" the first of its kind in theNigerian Credit Bureau industry. With CRC Mobile, individuals now have accessto their credit information and credit scores through their mobile phones. TheCRC Mobile App is available for immediate download on the Google and Apple Play stores.
The CRC Mobile Applicationwhich was formally launched at CRC Credit Bureau's Tenth Anniversarycelebrations on the 11th of December 2019 at the Muson Centre makesaccess to all of CRC Credit Bureau's products/services easy including its CRCScore and CRC Self Enquiry Credit reports.
According to the ManagingDirector/CEO of CRC Credit Bureau Limited, Mr 'Tunde Popoola, the launch ofthe mobile application was part of the innovations that the company has createdto enable consumers in Nigeria and diaspora access information that empowersthem to take control of their financial reputation and be better informed.Prior to taking a loan, they can also monitor their exposures for accuratereporting and the reduction of identity fraud.
CRC Credit Bureau has 13products and services that are all available on the mobile application 'CRCMobile'. After download, users of the mobile app are required to register, tobe able to access any of the products/services on the application.
They must also use thesame details used to register for their Bank Verification Numbers (BVN) whileregistering their details on the application for authentication. E.g mobilephone numbers.
CRC CreditBureau provides a nationwide repository on credit profiles of corporateentities as well as consumers, thus improving the ability of credit providersand borrowers to make informed lending and borrowing decisions. The bureau'sdatabase covers the credit industry which includes commercial banks, non-bankinstitutions, retailers, utility service providers and fintech.
