Management of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) recently paid a courtesy visit to one of its illustrious members, Mr Lance Musa Elakama, Ph.D (Law) at his ultra modern artesian natural mineral water production factory in Lagos.

Dr Elakama, who had a long and distinguished career at The Nigerian Stock Exchange where he rose meritoriously to the position of Assistant Director-General, was very happy to receive the CIS team.

He explained that he had decided to devote his time to nurturing his fledging mineral water production plant which currently employs a large number of young Nigerians.

Meanwhile, the “ADG” was totally his good old jovial self, sharing well thought out insights with the CIS team. He took us round the factory and also revealed to us that he had since earned a doctorate degree in Law.

He was very happy to learn of Oluwaseyi Abe’s election as President of Council of CIS and extended his congratulations. He expressed optimism about the future of the market and revealed his intention to have his company listed in due course.

Mr Elakama commended CIS for the high quality content of the Institute’s magazine, a copy of which was presented to him, and pledged his continued commitment and support to the development of CIS and the stockbroking profession.
