Averageprice paid by consumers for premium motor spirit (petrol) increased by 10.79%year-on-year and month-on-month by 0.07% to N161.17 in October 2020 fromN161.06 in September 2020. 

States with the highest average price of premiummotor spirit (petrol) were Kebbi (N166.50), Yobe (N163.58) and Anambra(N163.00). 

States with the lowest average price of premiummotor spirit (petrol) were Niger (N158.38), Sokoto (N158.57) andDelta (N159.38).

Average price paid by consumers for AutomotiveGas Oil (diesel) increased by 0.05% month-on-monthand decreased by -2.83% year-on-year toN219.80 in October 2020 from toN219.68 in September 2020.

Stateswith the highest average price of dieselwere Borno (N255.43), Katsina (N249.29)and Kebbi (N247.14).

Stateswith the lowest average price of dieselwere Kwara (N173.25), Anambra (N193.33)and Oyo (N198.53).

Averageprice per litre paid by consumers for National Household Kerosene increased by 1.42%month-on-month and by 8.69% year-on-year toN352.93 in October 2020 fromN347.98 in September 2020.  

States with the highest average price per litreof kerosene were Taraba (N437.50), Ebonyi (N423.81) and Benue (N410.00). 

States with the lowest average price per litreof kerosene were Bayelsa (N230.95), Rivers (N285.19)and Oyo (N310.00). 

Similarly, average price per gallon paid byconsumers for National Household Kerosene increasedby 0.27% month-on-month and by 1.91% year-on-year toN1,233.00 in October 2020 fromN1,229.66 in September 2020.  

States with the highest average price per gallonof kerosene were Katsina (N1,369.23), Jigawa (N1,360.71)and Enugu (N1,359.44). 

States with the lowest average price per gallonof kerosene were Delta (N978.71), Osun (N1,005.42)and Ogun (N1,078.75).

Average price for the refilling of a 5kgcylinder for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Cooking Gas) decreased by -1.06%month-on-month and by -0.70% year-on-yearto N1,953.71 in October 2020from N1974.67 in September 2020. 

 
Stateswith the highest average price for the refilling of a 5kg cylinder forLiquefied Petroleum Gas (Cooking Gas) were Bauchi(N2,487.83), Borno (N2,392.77) and Adamawa (N2,367.80).
